Hey guys! I've been practicing my terrain texturing and vegetation creation quite a bit lately and wanted to apply it to a small project. Most of my work I consider to be MAIN pieces, and this fits somewhere in between a practice piece and a main. For that reason I'm not beyond thrilled with the result but I had to push something out w/ my new knowledge at least. I found inspiration for this area by just google earthing around, and then searching up locations.. found this russian tundra zone on pexels or something. SO terrain was made in Gaea, and ALL foliage was made using SpeedTree! SpeedTree has quickly become so important to my workflow, honestly insane software. Everything was scattered using Geometry nodes in blender, which I love. Thanks for checking it out!
