GLOCKER

Well... Freaking making guns has always been super intimidating to me, I've kinda been avoiding it for ever now. My main project and goal is to create films... but how the hell am I gonna do that without guns!? I had to man up and try to figure em out, and honestly I'm super proud of this! I kinda modeled it in a non traditional way, and I'm super excited to push the method to it's limits. First I take a single vertice, and trace a gun reference perfectly. Then I extrude and remesh. After remeshing, I use proportional editing to model all the bevels, indentions, basically any "organic" features. Then I hit it with another remesh, model more details, texture, and adjust the material! There are a bunch of little adjustment steps within that too.. like mirror modifier and decimate. Anyway, it sounds kinda crazy but it's really really powerful for me. Oh also I think this is a Glock 17? LOL
Rendered in Cycles, 100 samples.
